Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks (born April 15, 1977) is an American actor best recognized for her role as Joan Holloway during the first seven seasons of the historical drama on AMC's Mad Men. The series brought her six Emmy nominations for best supporting actress and deserved praise from critics. Through her professional career that spans more than twenty years, she's also gained recognition for her roles in the legal drama Kevin Hill comedy series Another Period crime-drama drama Tin Star and comedy-crime series Good Girls. As a film actress that she's been recognized by critics for Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers: Prey in the Night Egg as well as American Woman. She has also been a voice actor in animated films such as From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 and Scoob!. Her career began in modeling and continued through the years, until her first appearance acting on television in Undressed which was a 1999 TV show. She received her first notable part as a character on the comedy show Beggars and Choosers. Following this, she won praises for her part in Firefly. Esquire magazine voted her as the most gorgeous woman in America and the most sexiest in the entire world in 2010.
